If you try to lose weight without detoxing first it's like adding sugar and water as gasoline to car. You're not going to get very far and keep it off. View the multiple options of simply daily, weekly or a 30 day fitness challenge you can do. Be sure to rest if the muscle gets too tense so you don't get muscle strain.

Drink Daily
Green Tea (hot, no sugar, you can use honey - no more than 2 tsp)
Water (1/2 your body weight in ounces. Example: You weigh 200lbs, you need to drink a minimum of 100 oz daily)
Detoxing?
If so, you can not have:

Soda, Alcohol, Juice (no Diet sodas/juice either)

Chocolate
-
Candy, Ice cream & Cake

Cereal of any kind
-
Whey Protein (due to ingredients. You can have pea protein)

Bread of any kind (sandwich, rolls, etc)

Pasta (yummy.. but a no no!)

Desserts.. if it taste good where you take a deep breath and roll your eyes behind your head type good.... then you can't have it!
